Job Description

We are looking for a talented and multi-disciplinary algorithm developer to join our Applied Machine Learning team. You will be responsible for developing cutting edge navigation and motion planning algorithms along side experts in computer vision and deep learning.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop planning and control algorithms for autonomous vehicles using on-road and simulation tests.
  • Implement, modify and train algorithms on computing clusters from academic papers and participate in cutting edge research in autonomous driving.
  • Maintain close contact to the scientific and industrial community in robotics and perform scouting and assessment of new approaches.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Strong theoretical and practical background in: state estimation, senor fusion, guidance navigation and control, vehicle kinematics/dynamics, robotics algorithms (localization, perception, planning and control).
  • Experience with sensing systems such as cameras, radar, lidar, GPS, IMUs, etc.
  • Experience with computer vision or robotics libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL, ROS)
  • Experience in Python, C++, Matlab
  • Experience in computer vision – advantage
  • Experience with CUDA/OpenCL, OpenGL – advantage
  • Experience with deep learning – big advantage

Education

PhD/M.Sc. in CS/EE/Physics or similar, alternatively a comparable industry career with a proven track record of successful projects in robotics, UAVs or drones.
